From a young age, I knew I loved helping others and wanted to carry that into a career. This led me to the healthcare field, although I was initially unsure of which specific area to pursue. After exploring various options, I found sonography perfectly combined my passion for photography, technology, and healthcare. I began my studies at Grand Valley State University and later transferred to the University of Alaska Anchorage, where I graduated with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. My extensive experience within the Alaska Native Health System deepened my appreciation for their culture and resilience, specifically the women. This experience ignited my passion for Women's Health, leading me to accept a travel contract at Duke Women's Health Associates. Now, I am back in my home state and take pride in being a part of The Women's+ Health Collective team. My journey has solidified my commitment to healthcare and dedication to making a positive impact through sonography.
